We are almost at the close of 2019. Many would agree it has been an odd year in a variety of ways. Our country has felt unstable with its current leadership and that has created all kinds of bizarre undercurrents. I encourage you to look back on all of the positive things that happened in your life this year, all of your accomplishments in all facets of your life.
Some of us, even the most brilliant, can be tough on ourselves.
Tell that negative gremlin in your head to knock it off and focus on the many, many things you made happen in your work, with your family and friends, and in your personal growth.
You were probably much more productive (and successful) than you realize in 2019. It was a good year after all. Give yourself a loving pat on the back.
As the excitement and energy of a new year approaches, 2020 no less, the world and your life is full of wonderful possibilities. Take time in the next few weeks to reenergize with some downtime. Quiet walks, meditation, still time to think about what it really is you want in your life. What authentically makes you happy?
If you are making any big life changes for yourself, I would love to hear about them.
